The men of Alpha Gamma Rho would like to thank all the sponsors and participants involved with the 2009 Holiday Classic Show. We had another great show this year and are already planning and looking forward to This years show.

**Note schedule changes to this show from previous years: Steers will show on Saturday and Heifers will show on Sunday. Showmanship is Saturday afternoon.**
Schedule
Friday, December 10
8:00 a.m. - Barns open for stalling. Entry cards available for purchase in Gilligan office.
5:00 - 9:00 p.m. - Check-In - All Steers must be checked in by 9 p.m.
Saturday, December 11
8:00 a.m. - Steer Show Ring A Begins
8:30 a.m. - Steer Show Ring B Begins
1:00 p.m. - Showmanship sign-up closes in grandstand office
3:00 p.m. or 30 mins after Ring B - Showmanship begins (2 rings will be used)
4:00 - 8:00 p.m. - Heifer Check-In. Entry cards available for purchase in Gilligan office.
Sunday, December 12
9:00 a.m. - Heifer Show Ring A Begins
9:30 a.m. - Heifer Show Ring B Begins
Entry Fee:
$50 per head for one ring or $90 for both rings
A $5 discount per head per ring will be given to animals in the best program
-includes bedding, to be provided in the Gilligan Complex only
-Mulch available for sale outside.

Premiums
Steer and Heifer Premiums Each Ring
Champion $1,000, Reserve $500, 3rd Overall $200, 4th Overall $100, 5th Overall $50
1st - $40 2nd - $30 3rd - $20 4th -$10
Classes less than 5 head will be prorated
Other Announcements
- Bedding is provided with entry fee in Gilligan only. Bedding is not provided outside but is available for purchase.
- Steer and market heifers born on or after 1/1/10
- Breed heifers born on or after 9/1/09
- Steers and crossbred heifers shown by weight
- Breed heifers shown by age. Registration papers required for all breed cattle.
- All cattle must have legible tattoos the first time through the chute. If the tattoos are not legible then the animal will be placed in the crossbred division
- Health papers required for all out-of-state cattle
- Show is open to the world

Show Committee is not responsible for accident, injury or loss.
Special Announcements
New for 2010 at all BEST Shows - No Farm Tags or Identifying Marks. No identifying tags or marks on exhibitors will be permitted at a BEST sanctioned show. This means no farm tags, special show harnesses or marked show shirts are allowed. Only BEST tags, county fair tags, EID tags and brands will be permitted. This rule applies to all animals and exhibitors entered in a BEST sanctioned show, including animals and exhibitors not in the BEST program. If an animal enters the ring with an unacceptable tag or identifying mark it will be disqualified from the show and will earn no points if they are a BEST animal.
